Spindizzy

Electric Dreams/June 1986

Full price gameArcade adventure gameHack
Screen shot

A 3D rollaround with fairly smart graphics but some of the puzzles where darn devious.

For those of you who're having problems controlling Gerald in this brill game breathe a sigh of relief 'cos this little hack gives you infinite time (which is effectively infinite lives). Although it's quite short, there's still a checksum to make sure of your typing.

Something which Your Sinclair completely fail to mention, which may lead you to think this hack does not work. This hack replaces the machine code loader for the game. To use this hack, you need to fast forward your Spindizzy cassette past the basic loader, and past the two extra pieces of machine code for the loader (called Bytes:loader and Bytes:ano loader) and play in the headerless bit of code on the your Spindizzy cassette. If you have done what I have told you to, run this hack, and then the spindizzy loading screen should pop up and the game will begin to load as normal with this new header.
