Another cheat:

On any level of the game, go to the bottom floor of the armoury, kill the guard with a handy wrench, then go and stand by the nearest box. Press down and you'll go down a concealed ladder into a secret chamber. Go to the chest you'll find there and walk into it. You'll now be immune to injury.
